The show will be on exhibit May 1- August 29, 2009. She will have work in the Mayer Gallery and several public artworks around the art center. If you are in the area, Wednesday July 8, 12 noon -1 pm there will be a Lunch and Learn Lecture and discussion of her work led by Hank Foreman, Director and Chief Curator.</p>

<p>This past weekend I was part of the&#8230; expert&#8230; team that relocated <a href="http://www.gillianchristy.com/americandreams.shtml" target="_blank">American Dreams</a> by Gillian Christy from the <a href="http://www.arsenalarts.org/" target="_blank">Arsenal Center for the Arts</a> to South County, Rhode Island. It was amazing seeing this sculpture move from a urban to forest setting in a matter of hours. <a href="http://www.esquire.com/style/fashion-story/ESQ0305RHODE_180" target="_blank">Luke Randall</a> was kind enough to give this sculpture a home for several months before it makes a move again to Boone, NC for Gillian&#8217;s upcoming show starting May 1st.</p>
